Identify how the unit would reach its working position
Explain every transfer after arrival, including whether equipment must move across a dock, float, gangway, steps, or boardwalk. The equipment provider and relevant facility operator need to agree a suitable handling method and location. Do not infer structural capacity from the fact that a path carries pedestrians. Request accessible options with an honest description of the whole user route, not just the available footprint.
Settle maintenance and removal before committing
Ask who would service the unit, what access or support is required, and how contents would be taken to an appropriate receiving system. Include handwashing supplies and replenishment in that discussion. A one-time movement of an empty toilet does not establish a workable ongoing rental. Agree what the project will do if transport or servicing is delayed; do not assume an unscheduled replacement trip will be available.
Request a complete feasibility-based proposal
Only compare proposals that state who handles transport, transfers, placement, servicing, waste removal, and return. Ask which access assumptions and delay provisions apply. An ordinary road-delivery quote is not a complete Elfin Cove arrangement, and no equipment availability is implied.
