Debris Volume Calculator
For a roughly rectangular pile or slab, enter length, width and depth. The result is geometric volume, not a guaranteed dumpster size or safe loading amount.
Formula: length × width × depth in feet ÷ 27 = cubic yards. Optional weight = cubic feet × supplied density; 2,000 lb = one US short ton. No density is assumed. Broken, loose or irregular debris can occupy a different volume; hazardous or dense material requires separate review.
Restroom Planning Worksheet
Prepare the factors an advisor needs. This worksheet intentionally does not turn a headcount into a universal toilet requirement.
Use the summary to discuss equipment, peak demand and service frequency. The responsible site team must review applicable requirements. Nothing is submitted from this worksheet.
Understand the estimates
Why not recommend a dumpster from volume alone?
The material, included weight, loading restrictions, dimensions and disposal route can rule out a bin even when nominal volume appears sufficient. Loose debris and a solid slab also pack differently.
Does this copy the source’s material-weight calculator?
No. This tool uses a visible geometric formula and only calculates weight when you supply a known density. It does not claim validated roofing, building-demolition or drywall weight assumptions.
Do the tools send a quote?
No. They calculate or summarize only on this page. Use Get a Quote when you are ready to submit contact and rental details.
