Distinguish local movement from outside freight
If a proposal depends on equipment arriving from elsewhere, ask which transport and transfer steps are included and how changes affect the project schedule. If equipment is locally available, still review the final approach, parking conflicts, and placement area. A road-accessible property and an isolated site within the same borough can have entirely different operating requirements.
Use RecycleWorks to separate waste questions
Juneau's RecycleWorks resources distinguish recycling, household hazardous waste, and junk vehicles from private garbage services. Inventory special items before selecting a general debris container. For temporary sanitation, explain whether the need is a construction period, a gathering, or a gap in existing facilities. Establish maintenance access independently of the dumpster loading area so one operation does not prevent the other.
