Account for shift overlap and support workers
Tell the provider about cleaning teams, inspectors, delivery personnel, and supervisors who may remain after a work crew leaves. Discuss handwashing and suitable unit options alongside the route from the active areas. If a permanent restroom is available only to part of the site, explain that limit rather than counting it for everyone.
Keep maintenance access separate from restart deliveries
Equipment and supplies may arrive as the workplace prepares to reopen. Preserve the agreed service approach through that transition. Name a coordinator who can communicate changes in staffing or working hours. Arrange removal only after the responsible person confirms what temporary provision is still needed for the final work stage.
Compare shutdown and restart use
Ask for delivery, collection, equipment choices, handwashing, and scheduled cleaning. Clarify extra visits or extended use if restart work takes longer or another shift is added.
