Do not choose the footprint before reviewing the approach
Measure the available placement area and describe the route to it in the request. Ask about the working clearance needed by the proposed truck and container. Keep vehicles, stacked materials, and seasonal snow storage out of that agreed space. If the driveway surface or drainage is uncertain, discuss those conditions before delivery; a close location is not necessarily a suitable retrieval location.
Separate brush from renovation and garage contents
Anchorage's public waste information distinguishes recycling and woody-debris options. That does not mean those streams belong together in a rental load. List brush, lumber, flooring, appliances, and any fluids or batteries separately. Confirm which items the quoted container accepts. Keep excluded or unidentified materials out and arrange the appropriate separate handling before a family or volunteer cleanup begins.
Ask about the load and the last pickup
Request the included weight, rental period, accepted materials, delivery, and collection terms. Explain if dense debris is involved. Ask how an exchange, a blocked driveway, or a change in pickup date affects the proposal; public disposal charges are not a rental quote.
