Separate room contents from renovation debris
Decide which furniture, fixtures, and linens are retained or reused before demolition begins. Identify electronics, leftover products, and other special items separately. Woodstock's resident disposal directions are not automatic acceptance instructions for a commercial or contractor load; confirm the appropriate material and user conditions for any option being considered.
Work backward from the next occupancy period
Plan when debris leaves each room and when replacements arrive. Preserve guest entrances and the container's retrieval space through those transitions. Ask about staged exchanges if the project moves through several rooms. A reopening target should inform the schedule, but does not guarantee a particular collection slot without confirmation.
Compare the room-by-room removal plan
Request accepted materials, weight allowance, rental duration, hauling, and exchanges. Clarify additional days, separate material handling, and changes if a room-release or guest-arrival date moves.
