Where to Place Portable Restrooms & Sinks
A useful position works for both the people using the facility and the team delivering and servicing it.
Check ground and the user route
Identify a firm, level location and review the approach from the work or activity area. Explain loose ground, slopes, steps or narrow passages. Accessible facilities need a suitable route as well as suitable equipment.
Consider where queues may form and whether the entrance remains visible after temporary structures are installed. Keep facilities away from active vehicle routes where possible without leaving them difficult for users to reach.
Keep the service approach available
Share gate widths, opening times, security instructions, overhead obstacles and a reachable site contact. Ask the provider to review the access needed for the equipment and service vehicle. Do not assume a unit can be serviced simply because it was carried into a small space.
A trailer footprint includes steps and other deployed equipment. High-rise units need their own transport plan. Anticipate later deliveries or construction phases that could block a position that initially worked.
Prepare for changing conditions
Rain, mud, venue layout changes and parked vehicles can alter access. Notify the advisor when conditions change. Discuss weather exposure and any model-specific securing arrangements rather than treating a nearby wall or fence as a universal safety solution.
Check owner, venue and local permissions where applicable. Confirm the position before delivery and coordinate relocations instead of moving equipment independently.
