Restroom Trailer Power, Water & Holding Tanks
Confirm utility requirements before delivery. A generic voltage or tank photograph is not an installation specification.
Review the electrical arrangement
The reference describes trailers using a dedicated 110-volt supply, but the required load, circuits, connectors and setup depend on the actual model. Have the provider confirm these requirements and the responsible party for a safe compatible supply.
Where a generator is proposed, confirm compatibility, placement and fuel responsibilities. Do not assume any available generator or extension arrangement will operate the trailer correctly.
Freshwater and wastewater are separate systems
Determine whether a usable water connection is available and appropriate for the equipment. An approved freshwater tank can be discussed where a connection is unavailable. Specify who supplies it, replenishes it and monitors use during the rental.
The trailer also stores or handles wastewater through its approved arrangement. Additional sewage holding tanks can support some setups, but storage capacity and service intervals must be matched to demand. A larger tank is not permission to ignore servicing.
Assign responsibilities for the rental
Agree access for waste removal, cleaning and replenishment. Establish who checks fuel or water and who contacts the provider if conditions change. Extended and multi-day rentals need those duties to be clear after the delivery team has left.
At pickup, preserve the access route and discuss any disconnection requirements with the provider. Do not modify fittings or relocate connected equipment independently.
