Sort by the work that produced the load
A fence repair, building renovation, and accumulated shed cleanout can generate quite different contents. Make an inventory by activity rather than calling everything property cleanup. Set reusable materials aside, and identify dense rubble or uncertain items before labor begins. Ask the responsible service about separate handling instead of mixing loads first and seeking approval afterward.
Keep gates and working areas usable
Plan where a truck will enter, stand, and leave, including the condition after the container is full. Do not use the removal approach as temporary storage for new supplies. If the entrance also serves another household or activity, agree a collection window and identify who can move vehicles. Leave the loading door usable while the job progresses.
Ask for the complete authorized arrangement
Confirm accepted contents, material limits, service period, exchanges, and the final pickup procedure. Discuss a delayed cleanup or changed gate access before relying on the original schedule.
