Control what enters a shared service area
If staff and contractors use the same back-of-house space, identify the temporary container's accepted contents clearly. Retain reusable furnishings and equipment outside the loading zone. Ask the responsible service about fixtures, flooring, packaging, and any special materials separately. Do not let a renovation bin absorb unrelated food-bearing rubbish or another tenant's waste.
Coordinate collection with the property manager
Explain the loading entrance, check-in process, and other deliveries that compete for space. Preserve enough working area for the truck after the bin is filled. If the property requires removal before an event or reopening, establish that sequence with the authorized collector before making promises to another contractor.
Compare the authorized scope of removal
Ask about loading limits, exchanges, duration, final pickup notice, and a blocked service entrance. Record who may request changes when operating needs and construction needs conflict.
